LYNCHBURG, Va. – The University of Richmond men's tennis team dropped a tough battle, 7-0, at No. 57 Liberty Wednesday afternoon to move to 9-4 on the year. Following the match, the Flames improved to 12-5.

How it Happened
Liberty put the match up 1-0 following two doubles wins on court three and two. Daniel Kliebhan and Nick Roddy were trailing Da Silva/Longwe-Smit (LU), 5-2, but the match was left unfinished.

In singles action, Robinson (LU) downed Mark Taranov, 6-1, 6-0 on court six before Thomas-Smith (LU) picked up a 6-3, 6-3 win over Davis Wiley on court three. On court No. 5, Arraez (LU) downed Dylan Atkinson, 6-2, 6-4, before Daniel Kliebhan dropped a tough battle against Da Silva (LU), 6-4, 6-2 on court one. To round out the match, Longwe-Smit (LU) defeated Sebastian Miano in a three-set battle, 3-6, 6-4, 1(10)-0(7) on court four and Paxton Pritchard took Miguel (LU) to three but narrowly fell 7-6, 4-6, 1(10)-0(3) to end the match with Liberty on top, 7-0.
