UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. - The University of Richmond men's tennis team defeated Hampton University 4-3 this afternoon at the UR Tennis Complex. The Spiders, earning their second-ever win over Hampton, improve to 11-10 on the year.
The Spiders opened the day winning all three doubles matches to earn the duos point and continued the success in singles matches. Richmond won three singles matches at the Number 2, 3 and 6 spots in straight sets but Hampton recorded victories in the other three matches.
Richmond hosts Atlantic 10 foe George Washington on Thursday, April 3 at 2:30 p.m.
