PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Behind a dominating singles court No. 5 victory by Polina Shitikova, the University of Richmond women's tennis team picked up a 7-0 sweep at Saint Joseph's Saturday afternoon. With the win, the Spiders improve to 7-9 overall and 3-4 in Atlantic 10 Conference play while the Hawks fell to 3-13 and 1-4 in conference play.

How it Happened
Andrea Campodonico and Claire Le Du picked up swift doubles win on court No. 1, 6-1 over Tort-Umpierre/Tracey (SJU) while Lara Bakhaya and Shitikova also downed I. Amato/S. Amato (SJU) on court two to give UR the doubles point.

In singles, Campodonico kept up the winning with a 1-6, 6-3, 6-3 win over Tracey (SJU) on court one before Carly Cohen picked up a 6-3, 6-1 rout over Tort-Umpierre (SJU) on court two. Leonor Oliveira handled business on court three with an easy 6-1, 6-0 win over S. Amato (SJU) and Elizabeth Novak downed Kordonowy (SJU) 6-4, 6-1. Shitikova swept Tackett (SJU) 6-0, 6-0 on court five and Le Du gave Richmond the 7-0 win with a 6-2, 6-2 win over I. Amato (SJU) on singles court six.
