
Men's Tennis Downed By Cross-Town Rival VCU

The Richmond men's tennis team was overtaken by VCU 7-0 on Tuesday afternoon at the Thalhimer Tennis Center.
The day began with the doubles competition. VCU's Johannsen and Baroz defeated A.J. Nelson and Rafael Arana 8-3, followed by VCU's Snensson and Wennakoski's win over Sebastien Fauchet and Zach Carl (8-3). Doubles ended with VCU's Dyke and Vazquez Catoira's victory over Jesse Feder and Justin Baker, 8-0.
VCU also swept the singles competition, winning all six contests in straight sets.
The Spiders will return to the Thalhimer Tennis Center on Jan. 29 and 30 for VCU's 4-1 Invitational beginning at 12 p.m.
