The men's tennis team was stopped by UMBC 5-2 on Sunday. The Spiders host in-state rival, George Mason Wednesday at 2:30 p.m.
No. 2 pair Sam Hyland/Dylan Schrode defeated Chris Myer/Logan Bricker for the lone win for the Spiders in doubles action.
In singles play, freshman Sam Hyland defeated Bricker 6-3, 3-6, 6-4 while freshman Chester Murray defeated John Dixon 5-7, 6-3, (10-4).
