
Spiders Can't Hold Down Hoyas

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. - The Richmond men's tennis team fell to Georgetown Thursday, March 20 in a 7-0 decision. The talented Hoyas dominated singles action taking all six matches. The duo of Doug Banker and William Minter earned a win for the Spiders in doubles action in the number two position.
Richmond's number one singles player, Doug Banker, fought hard but could not pull out the win against Georgetown's Schnell. Banker was down 6-2 but was able to rally taking the second set, 3-6. However, his fight fell short in the last set falling 7-5 to Schnell.
