
Men's Tennis Drops To Charlotte, 2-4

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. - The University of Richmond men's tennis team fell to the Charlotte 49ers, 2-4, on Saturday afternoon on the University of Richmond campus. Chris Louis and Michael Sommer earned the only wins for the Spiders in singles action as they fell to 10-12 overall and 0-2 in Atlantic 10 play.
Louis and Sommer earned the Spiders only wins at No. 5 and 6, while Doug Banker, Bobby McNally, Matt Stillwagon, and Sami Belakhlef fell at the No. 1-4 singles positions as the Spiders ended the match with a 2-4 disadvantage.
The Spiders will conclude their weekend tomorrow by hosting George Mason at 2:30 p.m.
