
Men's Tennis Falls to #46 William & Mary

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - The William and Mary's men's tennis team, ranked 46th in the nation, recorded a 6-1 win over Richmond yesterday afternoon at the McCormack-Nagelsen Tennis Center.
The Tribe's record improves to 2-0 on the year, while the Spiders drop to 0-1.
W&M got on the board first by winning the doubles point with victories at the bottom two positions. The Spiders' #1 duo of Matt Cabana and Derek Schwandt claimed an 8-6 win.
The Tribe soon clinched the team win by claiming the first three completed singles contests, all in straight sets.
Doug Banker recorded the Spiders' only singles victory with a 6-7 (5), 6-3, 1-0 (11-9) win at the #6 spot.
