
Men's Tennis Sweeps Navy, 7-0

ANNAPOLIS, Md. - The University of Richmond men's tennis team won their third consecutive match, as they swept Navy, 7-0, Friday afternoon in Annapolis, Md. The loss is the third in a row for Navy (9-4) and the first time they were swept this season. The Spiders' record improves to 4-10, with the win.
The Spiders grabbed the early 1-0 doubles point and never let up. Freshman Matt Stillwagon (Winchester, Va.) took his match to the third set and was able to clinch the victory over Navy's Haley Dodson, in the number five position. Stillwagon posts a 7-5 spring record and an 8-7 overall (fall/spring) record.
Richmond returns to the courts when they travel to South Carolina this week to face the Citadel on Tuesday, March 9 and Charleston Southern on Thursday, March 11, both matches begin at 2 p.m.
