
Men's Tennis Defeats Liberty, 5-2

Lynchburg, Va. - The University of Richmond men's tennis team recorded their second consecutive win when they defeated Liberty, 5-2, Saturday afternoon. Freshman Matt Stillwagon posted two points for the Spiders, as he won both his doubles and singles matches. With the win, Richmond's overall record improves to 3-10.
The Spiders claimed the doubles point and early 1-0 lead, with wins from doubles partners Derek Schwandt (Kennett Square, Pa.) and Matthew Cabana (Charlotte, N.C.) and Ryan Goldsmith (Dallas, Tex.) and Stillwagon (Winchester, Va.). Stillwagon has recorded four straight wins, in both singles and doubles action, since last Sunday's match against Wofford.
The Spiders return to the courts Friday, March 5 when they travel to Annapolis, Md. to take-on Navy at 2 p.m.
