
Men's Tennis Dominates Duquesne, 7-0

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. - The University of Richmond men's tennis team crushed Duquesne Saturday afternoon, 7-0, in a match played at the UR Tennis Complex. The Spiders began the day by sweeping all three doubles matches and then completed the sweep by winning all six singles matches, dropping only one set along the way and not yielding more than two points in a set in nine of the 13 sets.
The victory improves Richmond to 12-9 and 3-0 in the Atlantic 10, as the Spiders have won 15 of 17 singles matches and eight of nine doubles matches in conference action.
Richmond hits the road for its next match as the Spiders face Liberty on Tuesday, April 2 at 2:00 p.m.
