HAMPTON, Va. - The University of Richmond men's tennis team was defeated by #65 Hampton University Friday afternoon, 4-3. Freshmen Matthew Cabana (Plantation, Fla.) was victorious at the No. 4 spot, 6-2, 6-2, as he won his fourth consecutive match. Sophomore David Donn (East Longmeadow, Mass.) was victorious at the No. 2 position and freshman Derek Schwandt (Kennett Square, Pa.) came away with a victory at No. 5 singles when his opponent retired.
Donn and freshman Jeppy Moss (Fredericksburg, Va.) won in No. 3 doubles, improving their record to 7-1 in doubles action.
