
Richmond Shuts Out George Washington, 4-0

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. --- The University of Richmond men's tennis team recorded three singles wins and won the doubles point to post a 4-0 victory over George Washington in men's tennis action Sunday afternoon at UR Tennis Complex.
Richmond freshman David Donn (East Longmeadow, Mass./East Longmeadow) defeated Colonials junior Kinzie Wright at the three position, while junior Todd Parker (Richmond, Va./Mills Godwin) was a straight sets (6-2, 6-3) winner over Nick Vikstrom at four singles. Spiders sophomore Danny Scrafford (Centreville, Va./Centreville) recorded a 6-2, 6-1 win in the No. 6 position over Brett Warner.
In doubles competition, senior Rob Flader (Arlington, Va./Yorktown) teamed with Todd Parker (Richmond, Va./MillsGodwin) to post an 8-2 victory at the top spot while Niki Doll (Heidelberg, Germany/Heidelberg Gymnasium) teamed with Mark Scordo (Essex Fells, N.J./West Essex) registered an 8-6 win at two doubles.
Richmond (8-6) resumes action on Tuesday, March 27 hosting Liberty at 2:30 p.m.
