
Eight Spiders Named ITA Scholar-Athletes; Women’s Tennis Earns All-Academic Team Honors

RICHMOND, Va. — The University of Richmond women's tennis program has been honored as a 2025 Division I ITA All-Academic Team, the Intercollegiate Tennis Association announced this week. In addition, eight Spiders were recognized individually as ITA Scholar-Athletes for their outstanding academic achievements.
Abby Lee, Andrea Campodonico, Elizabeth Novak, Amy Walsh, Lucy Webber, Lara Bakhaya, Sofia Barbulescu and Claire Le Du were each named 2025 ITA Scholar-Athletes.
The ITA All-Academic Team distinction is awarded to programs that achieve a cumulative team GPA of 3.2 or higher over the academic year. The Spiders' recognition underscores their continued excellence both on the court and in the classroom.
To qualify for individual Scholar-Athlete status, student-athletes must earn a GPA of at least 3.5 and be a varsity letterwinner for the current season.
