Richmond Finish Fourth at A-10 Championships, Spiders Earn Eight Podium Finishes

FAIRFAX, Va. – The University of Richmond's women's track and field team finished Fourth at the Atlantic 10 Outdoor Track and Field Championship on Sunday afternoon. The Spiders earned eight podium finishes with four gold medal finishes, two silver medal finishes and three bronze medal finishes.
Darya Mikusova captured gold in the 400 meter-hurdles with a time of 58:27.
In the 4x800 meter relay ran by Dylan Miller, Morgan Lyons, Molly Flanagan and Caroline Donohoe, the Spider captured gold. The team finished with a time of 8:47.46 and finished two seconds ahead of the runner up.
The Spiders 4x400 meter relay ran by Morgan Elliott, Gabrielle Cummings, Nina Lavelle and Virginia Beringer captured gold finishing fifty milliseconds ahead of the runner up. The team crossed the finish line with a time of 3:42.45.
Caroline Donohoe finished with a time of 2:08.95 in the 800 meter and captured silver.
In the 400 meter, Beringer finished with a time personal best time of 54.31 and captured silver.
In the 1500 meter, Brooke Reif finished with a personal best time of 4:26.01 and capture bronze.
Cummings finished with a time of 24.15 in the 200 meter for the bronze medal.
Hallie Muniz captured bronze with a time of 17:03.76 in the 5,000 meter.
