
Flanagan, Mikusova Receive All-Atlantic 10 Honors

WASHINGTON, D.C. – On Thursday, the Atlantic 10 Conference announced its outdoor track and field All-Academic and All-Rookie Teams. Among the honorees was freshman Molly Flanagan and graduate student Darya Mikusova.

The All-Rookie team was composed of student-athletes who competed in their first season of indoor track and field and registered the top mark in each category from the start of the season through the 2025 Atlantic 10 Championship.Â

Flanagan, who was also named to the A-10 All-Rookie team during the indoor season, added another accolade to her resume in her first year as a Spider. At the outdoor championship, she finished sixth in the 800 meters final with a time of 2:12.43.

The All-Academic team honored student-athletes for their contributions in athletics and academics. Eligible student-athletes were at least a sophomore and maintained a cumulative GPA of at least a 3.0. The league's communication directors voted on the All-Academic teams. Â

During the outdoor season, Mikusova broke the school record three times in the 400-meter hurdles. In the finals, she captured gold with a personal best of 58.27. She also placed third in the 100-meter hurdles preliminaries with a personal best of 14.03 and went on to finish seventh in the finals.
