Brashear, Atkinson Named to CSC Academic All-District Team

RICHMOND, Va. — University of Richmond men's tennis sophomores Cole Brashear and Dylan Atkinson were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, the organization announced this week. The honor recognizes student-athletes for their combined achievements on the court and in the classroom.
Brashear, a Las Vegas, Nev. native, finished the 2025 season with a 9-5 record in singles play while adding an 8-7 mark in doubles, playing exclusively on court No. 1 in doubles action.
Atkinson, an Old Greenwich, Conn. native, posted a 10-4 singles record with two unfinished matches and wrapped up doubles play at 10-6, primarily on court No. 3. He closed the season on a four-match singles win streak.
To be eligible for Academic All-District honors, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher on a 4.0 scale, and compete in at least 70 percent of the team's scoring matches.
