Spiders Post Multiple First-Place Finishes at GMU Father Diamond Invitational

FAIRFAX, Va. – The University of Richmond's women's track and field team competed at the GMU Father Diamond Invitational this afternoon. Highlighting the day were sophomore Blaiklyn Clayton, senior Lindsay Colflesh, and senior Allison Colflesh, who won their events.
Clayton won the 200-meter with a time of 25.48. In the 60-meter, she finished fourth with a time of 7.93.
Lindsay Colflesh's first-place finish for Richmond landed her on the program's top 10 all-time list. She finished with a time of 1:36.36 in the 600-meter.
Allison Colflesh also won her event in the 1k with a time of 3:01.00.
In the 60-meter hurdles, sophomore Alexandra Cahill finished seventh with a personal best time of 9.25.
Senior Aylin Bruce finished second in the 500m with a time of 1:21.61.
Sophomore Ava LoVuolo finished third in the 1k with a time of 3:06.68.
The Spiders are back in action as they prepare for the Atlantic 10 Championships on Feb. 28-March 1 in Virginia Beach, Va.
