RICHMOND, Va. – The seventeenth-ranked University of Richmond men's lacrosse team celebrated Senior Day Saturday as the Spiders clinched the second seed in the upcoming Southern Conference Tournament with a 14-12 victory over VMI at Robins Stadium. The Spiders will open the SoCon Tournament facing third-seeded and tournament host High Point Thursday night. Game time is set for 8 p.m. at Vert Stadium and will be broadcast on ESPN Plus. Top-seeded and No. 8 nationally Jacksonville will meet fourth-seeded VMI in the first semifinal Thursday at 5 p.m.
