
Spider Men's Tennis Swings Past Georgetown, 5-2

Washington, D.C. - Winners of their last five matches, the Richmond men's tennis team headed north to D.C. to face off against Georgetown Tuesday afternoon. The Spiders jumped to a quick start taking the #1 and #2 doubles matches to capture the doubles point. The Spiders never looked back, whipping the Hoyas, 5-2, extending their win streak to six matches.
"Our pre-match routine was perfect., said sophomore Jacob Dunbar. "We were prepared to compete hard from the start and it made the difference today."
Jacob went undefeated today winning his doubles match with brother Ethan Dunbar 7-6 then clinching the #2 singles match 6-4, 6-4. The Spiders improved to 13-6 on the season.
Men will face George Mason next at the Westhampton Tennis Complex Thursday April 9 at 3pm.
