Men's Tennis Goes Undefeated In Pennsylvania

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Richmond men's tennis team went undefeated during a trip to Pennsylvania, including its first Atlantic 10 victory of the season 4-3 win over the Saint Joseph's Hawks Friday evening at the Upper Dublin Sports Center.
The Spiders capped off the trip blanking the Lehigh Mountain Hawks, 4-0, Saturday at the Lewis Tennis Center.
On Friday, Saint Joseph's took an early lead, winning the doubles point, but the Spiders took four of the six singles tilts to earn the victory.
The Dunbar brothers earned the top two singles wins with Ethan Dunbar taking a 6-3, 6-2 win at the No. 1 spot, while Jacob Dunbar recorded a 7-6 (3), 6-3 win on court two.
Canyon Teague secured a three-set 3-6, 6-1, 6-1 win on court three, while Dylan Trent also battled for a 7-6 (5), 4-6, 6-3 win at the No. 6 spot.
On Saturday, Richmond made its mark against Lehigh as it halted a Mountain Hawk four-game winning streak.
After easily securing the doubles point, the Spiders took three-straight singles matches for the win. Teague was the first Spider point in singles, taking a 6-1, 6-1 win at the No. 3 spot.
Then it was the Dunbar brothers again. Ethan Dunbar took a 6-4, 6-1 win at No. 1 and Jacob Dunbar secured the match with a 6-2, 6-1 win on court two.
