
Women's Tennis Falls At No. 62 Tribe

The Richmond women's tennis team fell to No. 62 William & Mary 6-1 over the weekend. Alexandra Smyth picked up the Spiders' point.
Smyth defeated Sydney Smith in straight sets, 6-3, 6-2 for the Spiders' victory.
"We knew our first matches would be a challenge against highly ranked opponents," said head coach Mark Wesselink. "These are tough losses but they make us stronger. We need to prove that starting this weekend."
Richmond returns to action at Temple Feb. 12 at 1:00 p.m.
