UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. -
The Richmond women's tennis team fell to Binghamton 4-3 Monday afternoon at the Westhampton Courts.
The Spiders picked up wins at No. 2 singles (Kelly Tidwell), No. 3 singles (Helen Cunningham) and No. 5 singles (Sydney Grant). Tidwell downed #108 Anna Edelman 6-3, 7-6 (7).
Richmond also picked up a victory in doubles play. The Spiders fell to 5-8 while Binghamton improved to 9-2.
Richmond returns to action next Tuesday at East Carolina for a 2:00 p.m. match.
