UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. -
The Richmond women's tennis team fell to in-state rival, James Madison 5-2 Wednesday afternoon in Richmond.
This was a tough loss but give credit to JMU," said head coach Mark Wesselink. "I expected them to be a little deeper but they also dominated at the top today. Our doubles play was much improved and as we get some players back I think we will benefit from close losses like this. We are hoping to bring a higher level of play for A-10 rival Temple on Friday."
Richmond returns to action Friday when it hosts conference rival Temple at 2:00 p.m.
