MONTACLAIR, Va. -
The Richmond women's tennis team (2-2) was edged by conference foe, GW 4-3 Saturday afternoon at the Montaclair Country Club.
Richmond's Kelly Tidwell and Isabel Arana recorded the lone victory for the Spiders in doubles play with a 8-3 win over Dorota Lysienia and Jackie Corba.
The Spiders and Colonials split singles play at three match victories each, but GW edged Richmond with its advantage in doubles action.
The Spiders play at Davidson next Sunday at 2:00 p.m.
