
East Carolina Edges Men's Tennis 4-3 In Regular Season Finale

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. - East Carolina edged Richmond 4-3 in men's tennis action on Thursday afternoon in Richmond, Va. in its regular season finale.
In doubles action, William Minter and Bobby McNally paired up for a win at the no. 3 spot, earning their fourth win in the last five matches; however, East Carolina claimed wins at the no. 1 and 2 spots to secure the doubles point.
In singles play, McNally, Doug Banker and Charlie Seltzer took wins at the no. 1, 2 and 5 spots, while the visiting Pirates claimed wins at third, fourth and sixth singles to take the 4-3 victory. Banker's win marked his fourth-straight in singles action.
The Spiders (7-15, 2-3 in A-10) will go for its fourth-straight A-10 Championship April 4-7.
