
Men's Tennis Shuts Out Bucknell 7-0

CHESTERTOWN, Md. - The University of Richmond men's tennis team posted its first shutout win of the season on Saturday afternoon as it defeated Bucknell 7-0. With the win, Richmond improves to 6-5 on the year.
The Bison played the Spiders tough in doubles competition with all three contests being decided by three points or less. Matt Cabana and Derek Schwandt downed Nick Denefrio and Asher Salam 8-6 at one doubles.
In singles action, the Spiders won five of the six matches in straight sets.
