UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. -- The University of Richmond women's tennis team defeated Temple University, 4-3, Friday evening at the Country Club of Virginia in Richmond, Va. The Spiders record improves to 9-8, with the win.
The Spiders won two of three doubles matches to claim the team point. Temple responded and posted wins in the one, two and three positions in singles action, but Richmond posted victories in the final three singles matches to record the 4-3 win.
The Spiders return to the courts when they host Virginia Tech on Sunday, April 4 at 11 a.m.
