
Women's Tennis Defeats American University, 6-1

Washington, D.C. - The University of Richmond women's tennis team defeated American University, 6-1, at the Montclair Country Club in Washington, D.C. on Sunday afternoon.
Junior Courtney Klein and freshman Robin Carter tallied wins in their singles sets and as a pair they defeated Retlev and HollynTaub of American, in doubles action. Sophomore Meghan Wolfgram also recorded wins in both her singles and doubles sets.
The Spiders (1-2) return to the courts on Friday, January 30 when they travel to Charlottesville, Va. to take-on Virginia at 2 p.m.
