
Women's Tennis Falls in Season Opener

Williamsburg, Va. -- The University of Richmond women's tennis team fell to eighth-ranked William & Mary, 7-0, in its season opener this afternoon at the McCormack-Nagelsen Tennis Center.
The contest began with the Tribe taking all three doubles matches for an early 1-0 lead and never let up. Freshman Robin Carter took her match to the third set, but was unable to pull off a victory.
The Spiders return to action on Friday, January 23 when they host Texas at 1:00 p.m.
