Chapel Hill, N.C. - The University of Richmond women's tennis team fell 7-0 to fifth-ranked North Carolina in their season opener this afternoon at Cone-Kenfield Tennis Center.
North Carolina opened the event winning all three doubles matches to take the point and didn't let up. Both Katie Karhohs and Casey Cohen took their matches to a third set, but were unable able to pull out the victory.
The Richmond women's tennis team returns to action on Saturday, January 25, as they travel to the nation's capital to face George Washington at noon.
