
Richmond Posts a 4-3 Victory Over Davidson

DAVIDSON, N.C. - The University of Richmond men's tennis team claimed the top four singles points to notch a 4-3 victory over Davidson College.
Richmond recorded victories at Nos. 1 and 2 singles as senior Rob Flader (Arlington, Va./Yorktown) defeated Whit Hansen at the top spot, 7-6 (7), 7-5, while freshman Nikki Doll (Heidelberg, Germany/Heidelberg Gymnasium) bested Billy Boykin at two, 6-4, 0-6, 6-4. Spider freshman David Donn (East Longmeadow, Mass./East Longmeadow) notched a three-set (6-4, 1-6, 6-0) win over Chad Winebarger at the No. 3 position. Spider junior Todd Parker (Richmond, Va./Mills Godwin) provided the difference at No. 4 spot, notching a 6-4, 6-4 win over Chad Phillips.
Richmond returns to action on Friday, February 23, visiting Old Dominion.
