Prep: Four-year varsity letterman seasons at The Frederick Gunn School in Connecticut. A two-time team captain, he was named All-League Western New England Prep Baseball League First Team in 2023 and Second Team in 2022. He also collected the Gutwillig Baseball Award for Best Hitter, in 2023 after batting over .400 his junior season. Addonizio also led the Post 125 Richmond Legion team with a .440 average, 1.088 OPS in 50 at bats and an appearance in the Virginia State Tournament this past summer.
