Beasley, Doroh, Lydic, Magner Named All-Conference
RICHMOND, Va. — Maya Beasley is the Atlantic 10 Women's Golfer of the Year and Calle Barlow is the Atlantic 10 Women's Golf Coach of the Year, the conference announced Friday.
Barlow, who shared the Coach of the Year award with Brandy Johnson of Loyola Chicago, led Richmond to a 28-stroke victory at last month's Atlantic 10 Championship at Evermore Resort in Orlando, Fla. Beasley, the individual medalist at that event, became just the second Spider to win multiple events in a season in 2025-26. She was also one of 10 golfers named Atlantic 10 All-Conference Friday, an honor she shared with fellow Spiders Addie Doroh, Hannah Lydic, and Katie Magner.
This is Barlow's second conference Coach of the Year honor. Her first came in 2023 when she led Richmond to the Patriot League title. She joins Ali Wright as the only Spiders to win multiple conference Coach of the Year Awards.
Beasley is the first Spider to win A-10 Women's Golfer of the Year since the conference began sponsoring women's golf in 2024-25. She leads the team with a 74.43 stroke average this season, the third-lowest in program history, and has the most top-10 finishes (four) and top-20 finishes (six) among Spiders.
Richmond's four All-Atlantic 10 selections were the most of any team. Addie Doroh, second on the team in stroke average, top-10 finishes, and top-20 finishes, is the first Spider freshman to earn All-Conference honors since Olivia Wilkie in 2023. Hannah Lydic, who placed fourth at the Atlantic 10 Championship, earned All-Conference honors for a third straight season dating back to Richmond's time in the Patriot League. Katie Magner, who bookended the regular season with top-five finishes (fourth at the season-opening Tribe Invitational and fifth at the A-10 Championship), earned her first All-Conference honor.
Richmond's four All-Conference selections equal its most in any season in program history. The Spiders earned the Atlantic 10's automatic bid to the NCAA Championships and will compete in the Chapel Hill Regional at Finley Golf Club on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
