Doogan Earns CSC Academic All-America Honors

RICHMOND, Va. – University of Richmond women's basketball standout Maggie Doogan has been named to the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-America Third Team, the organization announced Wednesday.
Doogan is one of 15 student-athletes selected across the three NCAA Division I teams and earns the honor with a top grade-point average while pursuing degrees in business administration and leadership studies.
On the court, Doogan led Richmond with 21.1 points and 7.9 rebounds per game during the 2025-26 season. She shot 50.6 percent from the field, 40.4 percent from three-point range and 89.0 percent from the free throw line across 34 starts.
Her season included a 48-point performance against Davidson on Jan. 10, which set program and Atlantic 10 single-game scoring records. Doogan helped guide the Spiders to a 26-8 record and their third consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance, including a second straight at-large bid.
She adds CSC Academic All-America® honors to a list of postseason recognition that includes Atlantic 10 Player of the Year, USBWA All-America Honorable Mention, USA Today Sports All-America Honorable Mention and a WBCA All-America finalist selection.
For her career, Doogan totaled 2,138 points and 871 rebounds in 129 games, finishing among the program's all-time leaders in scoring.
The CSC Academic All-America® program recognizes student-athletes for their combined athletic and academic accomplishments. The 2025-26 Division I team posted a collective 3.73 grade-point average.
Doogan becomes the first Richmond women's basketball student-athlete to earn Academic All-America honors.
