Six Spiders Collect Atlantic 10 Postseason Awards, Muldoon Earns Major Award

RICHMOND, Va. – The University of Richmond women's lacrosse team placed six Spiders on the Atlantic 10 All-Conference teams. Grace Muldoon claimed one major award.

For the second year in a row, Muldoon was named Midfielder of the Year. Starting all 17 games, she contributed on both sides of the ball, creating offensive scoring opportunities and making defensive plays. In the regular season, she scored 35 goals, tallied 14 assists, collected 19 ground balls, caused 16 turnovers and recorded 45 draw controls. Her season was highlighted by collecting nine draw controls in a win over Duquesne.

Two other Spiders earned First Team All-Conference honors: Colleen Quinn and Caroline Murphy.

Quinn earned first team honors for the second straight year. This season, she scored 52 goals, tallied 23 assists, collected 22 ground balls, caused seven turnovers and recorded 25 draw controls. Quinn leads the Spiders in goals and points. In the Richmond record book, she ranks second all-time in points (290), second in career goals (192) and is tied for fourth in assists (98). Her season was highlighted by a seven-point game in a win over George Mason.

On defense, Murphy earned her first Atlantic 10 postseason award. Starting all 17 games, she led the team in ground balls (33) and draw controls (47). In the regular season, she also tallied an assist and caused 15 turnovers. Her season was highlighted by collecting six draw controls in a win over St. Bonaventure.

Hannah Custer was named to the All-Conference Second Team.

Custer earned Second Team All-Conference honors for the second year in a row. Starting all 17 games, she collected 23 ground balls, caused eight turnovers and recorded 31 draw controls. Her season was highlighted by a career-high nine draw controls in a win over Villanova.
Bridget Lonsinger and Keating Hopkins were named to the Atlantic 10 All-Rookie Team.

After missing last season due to injury, Lonsinger returned to action as part of the midfield unit. She appeared in all 17 games, starting four. This season, she scored 13 goals, tallied seven assists, collected 19 ground balls, caused nine turnovers and recorded 20 draw controls. Her season was highlighted by a four-point game at Davidson.

Hopkins appeared in all 17 games and started 14. She scored eight goals, tallied four assists, collected eight ground balls and caused three turnovers. Her season was highlighted by scoring two goals in a win over George Washington.
