PHILADELPHIA – The University of Richmond baseball team dropped a 5-3 decision to Saint Joseph's Friday in Atlantic 10 Conference action, snapping a 12-game win streak.
Richmond, now 19-3 on the season and 3-1 in league play, returns to Smithson Field for game two of the A-10 series against Saint Joseph's (7-13, 2-2) Saturday at 2 p.m. on ESPN+.
Down four runs in the top of the ninth, Aaron Whitley led off the inning with a double to extend his hit streak to six games.
