
Richmond Finishes 26th at the National Invitational Championship

OCALA, Fla. – On the final day of the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America National Invitational Championship, the University of Richmond's swimming team finished 26th out of 57 institutions. The Spiders finished the NIC with a score of 105.

In the finals, freshman Carys Edgar finished 18th in the mile with a time of 16:53.22.

In the preliminaries, sophomore Presley Baber finished 30th with a time of 51.07 in the 100 free. Freshman Lena Amare tied for 40th with a time of 51.39.

In the 200 back, freshman Hannah Wiezorek finished 28th with a time of 2:00.67 and junior Caroline Weldon finished 34th with a time of 2:02.00.

In the 200 fly, sophomore Kaitlyn Bauer finished 38th with a time of 2:05.13.
