Doogan Earns Fourth A-10 Player of the Week Honor of the Season

RICHMOND, Va. – University of Richmond senior forward Maggie Doogan has been named Atlantic 10 Conference Player of the Week after leading the Spiders to a road victory at Liberty with a dominant all-around performance.
Doogan finished with 24 points, seven rebounds and seven assists while flirting with a triple-double in Richmond's win over the Flames. She added three steals and a block, anchoring a defensive effort that produced a season-high 11 steals and helped hand Liberty its first loss against an Atlantic 10 opponent this season. Doogan logged nearly 40 minutes and shot 52.9 percent from the field while going a perfect 4-for-4 at the free throw line.
The Broomall, Pa. native continues to pace the Atlantic 10 in multiple statistical categories, including assists (59), assists per game (5.4), double-doubles (4), rebounds (97) and points (255). Nationally, she ranks among the top 10 in total field goals, minutes per game, points and total three pointers, while also leading the league in free throw percentage at 91.1 percent.
This marks Doogan's fourth Atlantic 10 Player of the Week honor of the 2025-26 season and the 10th weekly conference recognition of her career, her first since Nov. 24.
The Spiders will look to close out non-conference play this week, hosting Bethune-Cookman on Tuesday, Dec. 16 at 11 a.m. for Education Day presented by Chesapeake Bank before competing in the 4 Tha Culture Holiday Classic. Richmond will face Alabama A&M on Saturday, Dec. 20 at 1 p.m. before concluding non-conference action against Penn State on Sunday, Dec. 21 at 2:30 p.m. inside the Henrico Sports and Events Center.
