Spider Cross Country to Compete at Atlantic 10 Championships

RICHMOND, Va. – The University of Richmond's men's and women's cross country team will travel to Cedarville, Ohio for the 2025 Atlantic 10 Cross Country Championships on Saturday, Nov. 1. The men's 8K race will begin at 10 a.m. and the women's 6K race will being at 10:50 a.m at the Elvin R. King Cross Country Course.

Last year at the A-10 Championships, the women finished seventh. Laurel Kurtz led the team, placing eighth and earning First Team All-Atlantic 10 honors. Following Kurtz and finishing in the top 70 were Mollie Fenn, Hallie Muniz, Paige Joyce and Brooke Reif.

On the men's side at the 2024 A-10 Cross Country Championships, the Spiders placed 12th. Leading the pack was Brady Barber, who finished among the top eight freshmen last season. Following Barber and finishing in the top 100 were Henry Haase and William Marhold.
