Spiders Relay Teams Highlight the Last Day of the Virginia Tech Invitational

BLACKSBURG, Va. – The University of Richmond's women's track and field team wrapped up the final day of the Virginia Tech Invitational at the Rector Field House. Highlighting the day were finishes from the 4x400m relay teams.
In the 400m senior Darya Mikusova finished 8th at 57.91.
Leading the Spiders in the 800m was freshman Molly Flanagan, who made her collegiate debut in the event. Flanagan finished 5th at 2:14.09. Senior Morgan Lyons placed 11th at 2:17.24 and sophomore Ashley Bolesh placed 13th with a personal best time of 2:18.18.
Sophomore Gabrielle Cummings finished 10th in the 200m at 25.20.
The Spiders saw success in the 4x400m relay as both teams finished in the one and two spots in section three of the race. Relay A placed 3rd overall with a season-best at 3:46.76. Relay B finished at 3:53.94 in 9th place.
