Cross Country Competes at Panorama Farms

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The University of Richmond's men's and women's cross country teams finished its fourth meet of the season at the Panorama Farms Invitational on Saturday morning. The women finished ninth while the men finished 16th.Â

Leading the women was junior Mollie Fenn who placed 31st out of 134 participants, crossing the finish line with a new personal best, 21:36.4.

Senior Laurel Kurtz finished in 35th place at 21:46.3. Juniors Brooke Reif (62nd – 22:16.7) and Paige Joyce (63rd – 22:16.7) finished back-to-back.Â

A trio of freshman crossed the finish line with personal bests today. Hallie Muniz ran finished at 22:31.6 placing 73rd. Avery Beike finished at 22:45.9 placing 79th and Melina Johnston finished at 22:48.2 placing 81st.Â

Leading the men was junior Henry Haase who placed 100th out of 197 participants. Haase finished at 25:11.6.

Running in his second collegiate race, Brady Barber was the second finisher for the men placing 132nd at 25:37.9.Â

Sophomore Eric Scully finished at 26:09.6 in 149th, sophomore Josh Gray placed 156th finishing at 26:18.9 and freshman Patrick Doherty finished at 26:27.1 placing 162nd.

Junior Jason Latina placed 165th at 26:30.6 and junior William Marhold finished at 26.41.7 placing 171st.Â

The Spiders prepare for the Atlantic 10 Championships as they are set to compete and host on Saturday, November 2, at Pole Green Park.
