DURHAM, N.C. -- The Richmond track and field team continued to impress over the weekend at the Duke Invitational.

Maria Acosta registered a top-five finish in the 800m crossing the line at 2:07.43. Brooke Fazio was 20^th overall with a time of 2:11.72 while classmate Caroline Robelen placed 55^th overall at 2:19.40 in the event.

Peyton McGovern led the Spiders in the 5,000m invitational race turning in a time of 16:59.68 to finish inside the top-15. Ave Grosenheider (17:10.24), Courtney Thompson (17:28.28) and Kylie Regan (17:53.98) finished close behind.

In the 400m hurdles, Haley Berkeley represented the Spiders and placed 19^th in a time of 1:04.63.

On the men's side Alex Lucking raced in the 5,000m invitational race and turned in a time of 14:48.47 to finish 18^th overall.

The Spiders will compete in their final tune-up meet next weekend at the Penn Relays, with the Atlantic 10 Championship on the horizon (May 5-6)
