
Wo Men's Tennis Falls At Old Dominion

NORFOLK, Va. – The Richmond women's tennis team fell to the Old Dominion Lady Monarch, 7-0, Saturday.
Richmond moved to 3-3 on the season, while ODU improved to 5-2 on the year.
The Spiders fell behind early as the Lady Monarchs took the doubles point. Senior Elizabeth Sims and freshman Denny Lamachia was the lone duo to record a Spider win. The duo took a convincing 8-2 win over Faith Atiso and Nika Khomolovska on court three.
In the singles portion, Brittany Boys took the only singles match to three sets. The freshman fell behind 6-0, before taking the second set 6-3 to push the match to a third set.
The Spiders will be back in action when they return home Tuesday, March 4 against conference foe VCU at 3 p.m.
