The No. 73 Demon Deacons downed Richmond, 6-1, Friday night in Winston-Salem Friday.
No. 6 singles Isabel Arana picked up Richmond's only win with a 4-1, retire score over Anna Mydlowska.
The Spiders resume action Saturday against GW at 12:30 p.m. at the Richmond courts.
