
Women's Tennis Falls to # 57 VCU 4-2

RICHMOND, Va. - The University of Richmond women's tennis team fell to cross-town rival, and 57th ranked, VCU 4-2 today at the Thalhimer Tennis Center. With the loss, the Spiders fall to 1-2 on the season.
Richmond earned the doubles point by defeating the Rams in the #2 and #3-doubles matches.
Junior Meghan Wolfgram earned Richmond's only singles victory with a straight set win at the #4 spot.
The Spiders are back in action on Sunday afternoon when they face conference opponent George Washington in the nation's capital.
