
Women's Tennis Sweeps Villanova, 7-0

Feb. 14, 2004 Philadelphia, Pa. - The University of Richmond women's tennis team swept the Villanova Wildcats, 7-0, Friday afternoon in Philadelphia, Pa. The Spiders' record improves to 3-3 and 1-0 in the Atlantic 10.
The Spiders swept the doubles sets to clinch the point and the early 1-0 lead. Senior Patty Devlin (York, Pa.) tallied her first win in doubles action this spring. Devlin and sophomore Meghan Wolfgram (Granite Bay, Calif.) won in the number two spot, 8-3.
The Spiders return to action Saturday, February 21 when they face Maryland at 11 a.m. at Virginia Commonwealth University.
