Richmond, Virginia - William & Mary won five of six singles matches and all three doubles matches to defeat the University of Richmond 6-1 in women's tennis action at the UR Tennis Complex.
Sophomore Jodi Kenoyer (Lighthouse Point, Fla./Cardinal Gibbons) won at #2 singles for the Spiders, posting a 4-6, 6-2, 6-4 victory.
Richmond had close losses at #3 and #4 singles. Sophomore Vanessa Bagnato (Manhasset, N.Y./Manhasset) lost 7-6, 6-2 at #3 singles. Sophomore Monika Peets (Tallinn, Estonia/Tallinn Science) lost 3-6, 7-5, 6-2 at #4 singles.
Richmond will host West Virginia on Sunday, March 25, 2001 at 1:00 p.m.
