Track and Field Finish Sixth at Atlantic 10 Championships, Spiders Capture Three Gold Medals

FAIRFAX, Va. – Richmond track and field finished sixth at the Atlantic 10 Outdoor Track and Field Championships at George Mason Stadium on Sunday evening. The Spiders recorded six podium finishes.

Brooke Reif claimed gold in the 1,500 meters with a time of 4:25.60 and Hallie Muniz captured silver with a time of 4:27.47.

Caroline Donohoe captured gold in the 800 meters with a time of 2:10.12.

Muniz captured another silver medal in the 5,000 meters with a time of 16:31.75.

The 4x800 meter relay ran by Donohoe, Flanagan, Phoebe Rubio and Reif captured silver with a season's-best time of 8:47.90.

The 4x400 meter relay ran by Morgan Elliott, Kayla Buback, Ashley Bolesh and Nina Lavelle captured bronze. The Spiders finished at 3:47.22.

Rubio finished fourth at 4:29.76 in the 1,500 meters.

In the 800 meters, Flanagan finished sixth with a time of 2:13.20.

In the triple jump, Sydney Phillips finished sixth with a mark of 11.94 meters.

In the 3,000 meter steeple, Mia Paolino (10:44.95) and Addie Cohen (11:01.90) ran personal-best times.

In the 5,000 meters Estella Bruneau finished 12th with a personal-best time of 17:30.68.
