Morton, Francioli, Harrington Headline A-10 Postseason Awards; Seven Spiders Earn All-Conference Honors

RICHMOND, Va. – The Atlantic 10 announced its end-of-season awards, with Richmond earning three major honors and placing seven student-athletes on All-Atlantic 10 teams.Â

Alexis Morton was named Offensive Player of the Year, Abby Francioli earned Goalkeeper of the Year honors and Anne Harrington was selected as Coach of the Year.

Three Spiders were named First Team All-Atlantic 10: Morton, CC Jacobs and Francioli.

Five Spiders earned Second Team All-Atlantic 10 honors: Bridget Lonsinger, Emma Kroneberger, Rileigh Meyer, Reagan Quinn and Mia Valerio.

Grace Hallahan was named to the All-Rookie Team, while Meyer also earned a spot on the All-Academic Team.

Senior Alexis Morton was named Atlantic 10 Offensive Player of the Year and earned First Team All-Atlantic 10 honors. She leads the Spiders in scoring and paces the league with 6.00 points per game. Morton ranks third in goals per game (3.50) and second in assists per game (2.50). Through the regular season, Morton has totaled 96 points on 56 goals and 40 assists. A three-time Atlantic 10 Offensive Player of the Week, she led the conference with 4.33 goals per game in league play and recorded a season-high 11 points in Richmond's win over VCU.

Junior Abby Francioli was named Atlantic 10 Goalkeeper of the Year and earned First Team All-Atlantic 10 honors. She has anchored a Richmond defense that allows just 8.12 goals per game. Francioli holds a .483 save percentage and averages 6.06 saves per game. She has recorded 13 wins this season and matched her season high with 10 saves in victories against then-No. 12 Virginia (12-11) and South Florida (15-14).
Head coach Anne Harrington was named Atlantic 10 Coach of the Year for the first time in her career. She led the Spiders to a 13-3 overall record in the regular season and a perfect 9-0 mark in conference play, securing the program's first outright regular-season championship since its inception in 1983. Under Harrington, nationally ranked Richmond ranks fourth in scoring margin (7.44), fifth in scoring offense (15.56), third in draw control percentage (.640), third in shot percentage (.503) and eighth in winning percentage (.813).

First Team All-Atlantic 10
CC Jacobs started all 16 games for the Spiders, totaling 15 ground balls and 17 caused turnovers while committing no cards. She helped anchor a defense ranked No. 13 nationally in scoring defense, allowing just 8.13 goals per game.

Second Team All-Atlantic 10
Redshirt sophomore Bridget Lonsinger played in all 16 games with 15 starts and ranks third on the team in points. She has recorded 30 goals and 20 assists while leading the team with 20 ground balls. Lonsinger has also caused six turnovers and collected 12 draw controls.

Senior Emma Kroneberger appeared in all 16 games with one start, tallying 14 goals and two assists. She has added six ground balls and caused two turnovers.

Graduate student Rileigh Meyer started 15 games in the midfield, recording 16 goals and three assists. She has collected 17 ground balls, caused two turnovers and secured 22 draw controls. Her performance on the field and in the classroom earned her Atlantic 10 All-Academic honors.

Sophomore defender Reagan Quinn played in all 16 games with 15 starts, collecting 15 ground balls and causing seven turnovers. She contributed to Richmond's No. 13 national ranking in scoring defense (8.13 goals allowed per game).
